How we Find Candidates

Candidate attraction is the most important and essential part of our role, good architects are hard to find so most of our time is spent on sourcing and building relationships with passive candidates, even on the contract side.



Currently we have 16,000 Architects on our database.  These are categorised into 9 main domains, with over 70 individual architecture job titles.  Our core architecture domains are:

  • Our database is purley architecture focused
  • We take time to classify architects according to our classifications not theirs.
  • We keep in regular contact with our candidates through our architecture news letter and regular phone calls.
  • At least 30% of candidates on our database do not have CVs and are waiting to be contacted by FMC regarding an opportunity to entice them from their current position.
  • At least 90% of the permanent database are passive candidates




  • We built good relationships in the architecture market, candidates trust us and refer FMC to their colleagues.  
  • We are regular attenders at architeture conferences and host breakfast meetings for architects.
